Ellens Way (GB) and Garrane (IRE), both trained by Jeremy Scott, were late in the Parade Ring due to the trainer having difficulty fitting the tongue-strap on Ellens Way (GB) and subsequently being delayed in saddling Garrane (IRE).
It was noted that Hideaway Vic (IRE), placed fifth, was reluctant to jump off which in turn caused Ballymagroarty Boy (IRE), placed second, to be hampered as the start was effected.
