Following the race Cam Hardie, reported that Sooqaan (GB), placed seventh, stumbled leaving the stalls.
The performance of THECHILDREN’STRUST (IRE), which started favourite and finished fifth, was considered.
Gary Moore’s representative could offer no explanation, other than the gelding is an inconsistent type.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the THECHILDREN’STRUST (IRE) during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
