The Stewards requested a report from Paul Nolan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Fine Theatre, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Paul Nolan stated that todays race was a lesser grade veterans race, that his charge got the run of the race in front and really seemed to appreciate getting an easy lead and the drop back in trip all contributed to the apparent improvement in form when compared to its previous run. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given
