we were worried about the ground because the rain hadn't stopping coming here. Darragh gave him a lovely ride. He got a nice lead around, was patient and stayed out for a nice bit of fresh ground. We'll see how he is and we might look at the big meeting at Leopardstown and see what is there for him. He was unlucky at Leopardstown the last day as another horse galloped into him and he lost a shoe. Paul Traynor, trainer

Weights - 5-y-o 10st 12lbs ;6-y-o and up 11st ;Horses that have not run three times over ;hurdles and/or do not have a ;published handicap hurdle rating may enter ;and run at the discretion of the handicapper ;provided their performances are rated 130 ;or less ;
Penalties - Performances before 9th January - for every 1lb above the rating of 120 1lb extra On or after 9th January - for each hurdle race won 5lb extra
