Permission was given for Holerday Ridge (IRE) to wear a red hood in the parade ring.
The performance of Holerday Ridge (IRE), which started favourite and finished third of four finishers, beaten 33 lengths, was considered.
Claire Hitch explained that in her opinion, the race had come too soon after previously running on 27 May 2023.
The performance of Aces Full (FR), which was pulled up, was considered.
Sean Curran could provide no explanation for the performance of the gelding, other than confirming the report from Sean Bowen that Aces Full (FR), was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Tabitha Worsley reported that Chain Smoker (GB), placed fourth, jumped poorly.
