It was noted that Vaxholm (IRE), placed fifth, jumped a discoloured patch of grass approximately 2½ furlongs out and became unbalanced as a result.
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Tiberio Force (GB) which had never previously been placed, was considered.

The representative of David Evans explained that the filly appeared to have been unsuited by the undulating track on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Midgetonamission (IRE) during routine testing, found the filly to be experiencing a prolonged recovery rate.
