Permission was given for Defence Treaty (IRE) to go to post early.
The winner Mrembo (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newbury on 18 August 2023 where the filly finished sixth of seven runners, beaten 20 ¾ lengths on ground officially described as Good to Soft.
Jonathan Portman’s explanation that the filly was better suited by todays quicker Going, which was officially described as Good was noted.
Mrembo (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Millie Wonnacott reported that Defence Treaty (IRE), placed fifth, hung left- handed.
