An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately five and ahl furlongs out involving In The Storm (GB), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle, Self Praise (IRE), placed second, ridden by Daniel Tudhope, and Thunder Cat (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Joshua Bryan.
The interference was found to be accidental as Thunder Cat (GB), having been settled into position behind In The Storm (GB), had latched on and despite the rider’s best efforts to restrain his mount had improved its position up the inside of In The Storm (GB), which resulted in Thunder Cat (GB) and Self Praise becoming short for room upsides causing Self Praise to clip Thunder Cat (GB)’s heels and stumble.
Following the race, the representative of Archie Watson reported that In The Storm (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the undulations at Epsom.
