The Stewards requested a report from T.J. Taaffe, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Gold Bullet, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge failed to stay the 3m2f trip at Cheltenham on his previous start. He added that the drop to today's 2m4f trip seems to have proved ideal and helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
