The winner, Lilkian (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chelmsford on 30 September 2023, where the gelding finished eighth of thirteen beaten by 6 ½ lengths.
Darryll Holland’s explanation that the gelding was suited by a return to Lingfield was noted.
Lilkian (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Billy Loughnane reported that Break The Spell (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
