She is a classy filly and it is nice to see her return to her two year old form. Pat (Smullen) didn't get the run he wanted in the Coronation Stakes but she has now won two Group 3's and we might look for a Group 2 next - her next run will probably decide whether she returns next year. The Stewards requested a report from D. K. Weld, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Tanaza, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative, Kris Weld, reported that his charge disappointed on her last start at the Curragh when she was badly drawn and ran free. He added that today's drop in trip helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
