It's our first winner together. Davy has been second a few times for me on different horses. He rode Marashim around Clonmel and Tramore, tracks he doesn't handle. It's great for Davy and all of us. He's a sporty horse and he's full of guts. I'll give him a break and freshen him up.

The Stewards interviewed M.A. Enright, rider of Knockanarrigan, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.4, in that he failed to give his mount sufficient time to respond and having considered his record, cautioned him as to his future responsibilities in this regard. .
