Permission was given for Streak Lightning (IRE) to go early to post and for Vindobala (IRE) to go early to post and to be mounted on the course.
The Starter reported that Streak Lightning (IRE) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Ruth Carr was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final ½ furlong involving Streak Lightning (IRE), unplaced, ridden by James Sullivan and Ravenglass (IRE), placed third, ridden by Oisin Orr.
Orr was cautioned for careless riding as he switched his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of Streak Lightning (IRE), causing Sullivan to ease momentarily.
