The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fit For Function (GB), trained by Joseph G
Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards requested a report from John James Feane, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dragons Call, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge appeared to appreciate the step up in trip in what he felt was a lesser race and felt a combination of both had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
