Permission was given for Danboru (IRE) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider why Micky Hammond, was running Go To Court (IRE) here at Kelso on going described as Soft, having declared the mare a non-runner at Southwell on 1 October 2019 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer's representative stated that in the trainers opinion the turf rides better at Kelso, being a more galloping track, and they felt it would be more suitable for the mare.
Following the race, Henry Brooke reported that Go To Court (IRE), which was pulled up, had stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the mare failed to reveal any abnormalities.
