Beach Bunny ran out a 25/1 winner of the opener but despite her odds didn't really seem to surprise her trainer in this three year old maiden. Having failed to show any sort of promise in three runs last year ? the first two at Dundalk ? this daughter of High Chaparral finished well to lead a furlong out and hold on by a length.

Aidan O'Brien's Sail was closet at the finish and although being sent off favourite was putting in a better performance than her sole run last year which saw her finish a well beaten 12th behind stable mate Halfway To Heaven. Her maiden tag should not be attached for too much longer.

Second Glance finished the best of the racecourse debutants and confirmed the good form of Dermot Weld's yard. She should be set to come on leaps and bounds for her first ever run and should certainly be winning before long.

Both Carbonia and Golden Silk should too be well up to picking up a maiden on this showing but they both failed to quicken at the business end and would probably both require better ground.
