The sponsorship in relation to Sound And Fury (IRE), trained by Ben Pauling, did not comply with the Sponsorship Code of Conduct.
Pauling was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that the correct sponsorship is carried.
The winner Sound And Fury (IRE) appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Aintree on 29 October 2023 on ground described as Good to Soft, where the gelding was pulled up.
The representative of Ben Pauling explained that the gelding may have stripped fitter for its reappearance run which followed a 197 day break, and also appreciated the softer ground on this occasion, officially described as Soft, Heavy in places.
Sound And Fury (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Rossbeigh Strand (IRE), unplaced, lost its left fore shoe.
