The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Je Suis Sacre (FR) which had never previously been placed, was considered.
Robert Walford was interviewed.
His comments that the gelding may have benefitted from the step up in trip and a less competitive field were forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority so they that could be reviewed in conjunction with the previous performances of Je Suis Sacre (FR) and the gelding was routine tested.
