Permission was given for Queen Daenerys (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Katara (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Goodwood on 30 April 2021 where the filly finished fourth of four, beaten by 15 lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Sir Michael Stoute could offer no explanation for the filly’s improved form.
Katara (FR) was routine tested.
Approximately ½ a furlong out, Golden Pass (GB), placed second, edged left-handed, carrying Urban Artist (GB), placed third, off its intended line at the same time as the winner, Katara (FR) moved slightly right-handed, causing Black Lotus (GB), placed fifth, which was hanging right independently, to be checked in its run, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of either Katara (FR) or Golden Pass (GB).
