The winner, Velocistar (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Doncaster on 24 April 2021 where the filly finished sixth of ten, beaten by 9 lengths.
Steph Hollinshead’s explanation that Velocistar (IRE) was suited by the Soft, Heavy in places going, was noted.
Velocistar (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Kevin Stott reported that POP FAVOURITE, unplaced, hung left and Joe Fanning reported that Cool Dandy (IRE), placed eighth, became unbalanced by the undulations on this occasion.
