An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when Swissal (IRE), placed second, ridden by Dougie Costello, interfered with HEY HO LET’S GO, placed fourth, ridden by Jack Mitchell.
Costello was cautioned for careless riding as he was slow to correct Swissal (IRE) when the gelding drifted left-handed away from the whip causing Mitchell to take a slight check.
Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that Swissal (IRE), placed second, hung right-handed under pressure and Jack Mitchell reported that Hey Ho Let's Go (GB), placed fourth, ran too free early on and was denied a clear run.
