Leaving the back straight on the first circuit, a free-running Pak Army (IRE), placed third, hung left- handed hampering the winner, Outback Frontiers (IRE), which was crowded for room and in turn tightened up EAGLE’S REALM, placed second, on the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The winner, Outback Frontiers (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Fontwell on 12 June 2024 where the gelding finished seventh of ten runners, beaten by 40 lengths.
It was noted that John O’Shea could offer no explanation for Outback Frontiers' (IRE) improved form on this occasion.
The gelding was routine tested.
