The Stewards requested a report from A.P. O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Alphabet (GB), placed second, as compared with her recent form. A.P. O'Brien reported that this filly has always been a good work horse at home and therefore she has raced throughout the season. In his opinion he felt that her best form was shown over five furlongs with a good cut in the ground. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
