The Stewards held an evidence gathering enquiry to consider whether Miss Heidi Stephens, the rider of Famoso (IRE), which fell at the last fence, had continued in the race when her horse appeared to be exhausted.
The Veterinary Officer, the racecourse Veterinary Surgeon and trainer Mark Gillard were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, but due to Miss Heidi Stephens going to hospital owing to her injuries, the enquiry was adjourned.
