An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Zylan (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle; Merhoob (IRE), placed second, ridden by Luke Morris and Corinthia Knight (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Edward Greatrex.
The interference was found to be accidental as Morris had committed for a narrow, but legitimate gap between Zylan (IRE) and Corinthia Knight (IRE), and shortly afterwards the gap began to close, which meant that Merhoob (IRE), which was hanging left, bumped Zylan (IRE) on the hindquarters, causing it to become unbalanced.
