The Stewards enquired into an incident in the final two furlongs involving Snowstar, ridden by N.M. Crosse, Nigg Bay, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, and Brave Display, ridden by S.P. Davis, where it appeared Snowstar checked
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that S.P. Davis was in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day
S.P. Davis, rider of Brave Display trained by P.J.Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran around.
An extended handicap for three yrs old and upwards (95 = 10st)
