An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after possible interference on the run to the line involving the winner, Fresh (GB), ridden by Billy Loughnane and Tacarib Bay (GB), placed second, ridden by Joe Leavy.
Having viewed recordings of the incident and listened to the evidence, the Stewards considered that there was no interference as both Fresh (GB) and Tacarib Bay (GB) moved right-handed independently and therefore ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
