An enquiry was held to consider the circumstances surrounding why the screens were deployed prematurely and no bypass flag was put in place at the last hurdle.
The Clerk of the Course and Conor Ring, the rider of Jukebox Junior (GB), were interviewed after which a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
An enquiry was held to consider whether Conor Ring, the rider of Jukebox Junior (GB), which refused at the final hurdle had continued in the race when his horse appeared to be fatigued after clambering over the second-last hurdle then trotting for several strides.
The rider and the Veterinary Officer were interviewed, and recordings of the incident were viewed.
The Veterinary Officer stated that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The rider was suspended for 5 days for continuing in the race when it was contrary to the welfare of the horse.
