Permission was given for Tammooz (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only.
Approximately 2 ½ furlongs out, a weakening Rochester House (IRE), unplaced, became short of room in a packing field, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was not possible to apportion blame.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final 1/2 furlong when the winner First In Line (GB), ridden by Cieren Fallon interfered with Holy Kingdom (IRE), placed second, ridden by Luke Morris; which was beaten by a head.
Although Holy Kingdom (IRE) was carried off his intended line, he lost no momentum with Morris never having to stop riding.
The Stewards therefore could not be satisfied that the interference had improved the placing of First In Line (GB) and left the placings unaltered.
Fallon was suspended for 2 days for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift right-handed without sufficient correction.
