SAN ANGELO has had his training problems but put in a gutsy effort to record his second career win. The gelding has raced just 17 times in almost a six year career and it was a good effort by his trainer to win this. He can win another similar average contest.

PRINCE OF LEISURE was a wide margin winner at Down Royal recently and ran well under top weight. He may be open to some improvement but, at 116, is high enough in the handicap.

FLYING PARAGON was ridden patiently on the outer (on the better ground) and, although he made ground to chase the leaders before the straight, never looked like winning. However, he did stay on from two out and is sure to have a sound chance in a similar type race.

ROLL OVER raced prominently but could find no extra, before making a mistake at the final fence while GIOLLA AN BHAIRD never really travelled and was pulled up.
