The winner, Kafee (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Sandown on 21 July 2020 where the colt finished tenth of thirteen, beaten by 12 ¼ lengths.
Andrew Balding’s explanation that Kafee (IRE) benefitted from a small break of 38 days since its last run at Sandown was noted.
Following the race, Ed Dunlop's representative reported that Global Warning (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the going, which was officially described as Soft, Heavy in places on this occasion and would prefer a faster surface.
