Permission was given for Live Your Dream (IRE) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring.
The winner, Indigo Times (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ascot on 7 August 2021 where the gelding finished eighth of ten, beaten by 11 ¼ lengths.
David Simcock’s representative’s explanation that the gelding appreciated the firmer going of Good to Firm, Good in places today compared to Good to Soft last time out was noted.
Following the race, Andrea Atzeni reported that Dancing Harry (IRE), placed sixth, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
