The Stewards reviewed an incident between the last fence and the winning post involving Macgiloney, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed first and Key Commander, ridden by D. Meyler, placed second, where it appeared that Macgiloney had drifted across the racing line of Key Commander causing the latter to check momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the incident the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Macgiloney trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped going to the last fence
