An enquiry was held to consider the falls of Big Country (IRE), ridden by Luke Morris and Daheer (USA), ridden by Jimmy Quinn, rounding the first bend.
Morris was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, but Quinn was unable to be interviewed due to being assessed by the Medical Officer.
The incident was found to be accidental and caused by Big Country (IRE) becoming badly uncoordinated after appearing to lose its action independently of any other runner and falling into the path of Daheer (USA) which was brought down as a result.
The winner, Make It Rain (IRE), was inconvenienced by the fallen runners and both Kryptos (GB), placed fifth, and Lucky's Dream (GB), placed fourth, were severely hampered as a consequence.
