Permission was given for Cabelleroso (GB) to wear a red hood to post and Columnist (GB) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the bend shortly after the start involving King Of Angels (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jason Watson and Boro Queen (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Sean Dylan Bowen.
The interference was considered to be accidental as Watson, in looking to get cover having been unable to obtain a prominent position, began to move his mount left-handed in the expectation of Boro Queen (GB) moving left-handed towards the rail of its own accord.
Boro Queen (GB) however remained in the three off position on entering the bend and despite Watson immediately attempting to correct King Of Angels (IRE) on realising this, gave a bump to Boro Queen (GB) causing it to move in towards the rail.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that King Of Angels (IRE), placed third, ran too free and Sean Dylan Bowen reported that Boro Queen (GB), placed sixth, jumped left-handed leaving the stalls.
