Donnacha (O'Brien) gave her a lovely ride. There wasn't much pace on, and we were probably going to be a bit further back, but he grabbed the bull by the horns and went on and sat second. He controlled most of the race and then she was tough when he needed her when Ken Condon's filly (Crafty Madam) came. She toughed it out well. She's a great filly for the lads as she been so consistent. For the last few years she's seldom ran a bad race and that's probably her career best today. It's a good pot. There a bunch of these fillies' handicaps this year and they are fantastic for these fillies. There are animals staying in training just for those races. She could have gone to the shed last year but she has great money to run for all year. She could go to Galway, she'll have plenty of entries. Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer

The Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the finish line involving Crafty Madam, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, Waitingfortheday, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed first and Leagan Gaeilge, ridden by K.J

Manning, placed third, where it appeared Leagan Gaeilge ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings, however they were of the opinion that W. J. Lee was in breach of rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned W. J. Lee.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards fillies only that are EBF eligible (100 = 9st 12lbs)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap shall not be less than 9st 12lbs
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra for each race won.
