Permission was given for Mordin (IRE) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring.
The Anti-Doping Manager reported that Zabriskie (IRE), trained by Luke Comer, appeared to show evidence of possible administration of a substance around his mouth when presented for a pre-race sample.
The Trainer, the Anti-Doping Manager and an Equine Welfare Integrity Officer were interviewed.
Being satisfied that Zabriskie (IRE) had received only normal food and water by mouth on the day of the race, the Stewards allowed the colt to run and ordered that it be post-race sampled.
The trainer's explanation that Zabriskie (IRE) had been administered with Superlyte, an electrolyte paste, on its journey the previous day was noted.
A report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
