An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approaching the winning line when the winner, STYLE DE VOLE (FR), ridden by Barry Geraghty interfered with Ol THE CLUBB O's, ridden by William Kennedy, placed second. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved STYLE DE VOLE (FR)'s placing as Ol THE CLUBB O'S, although taken off its intended line, lost no momentum and was always being held by STYLE DE VOLE (FR). The interference was found to be accidental as STYLE DE VOLE (FR) had drifted left despite the rider's best efforts.
