The performance of Mister Mister (IRE) which finished eighth beaten 52 lengths, was considered.
Dai Williams’ explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the going, which was officially described as Good on this occasion and in his opinion was riding softer than described, was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities, other than the gelding had lost its left fore shoe.
The performance of Aquarian (IRE), which was pulled up, was considered.
Jonjo O’Neill could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance other than Aquarian (IRE) was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer subsequently reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
