JACK D’OR had to be reshod having spread its right hind shoe leaving the stables, causing a slight delay to the race.
The performance of Al Ozzdi (GB), which finished unplaced, was considered.
Roger Fell’s representative explained that the gelding was unsuited by the Soft going, which in their opinion was riding easier than described on this occasion, and Al Ozzdi (GB) would prefer a quicker surface.
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that JACK D’OR, placed second, hung left under pressure.
