An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one and a half furlongs out, involving PEARL’S EDGE, placed fourth, ridden by Gina Mangan and Balmoral Lady (IRE), placed second, ridden by Callum Hutchinson.
Mangan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she had allowed her horse to move left-handed without correction, which caused Hutchinson to take a check and switch his course.
Following the race, William Cox reported that River Edge (GB), unplaced, ran green.
