An enquiry was held to consider interference on the first bend, involving Regal Director (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Jack Mitchell, Argus (IRE), placed third, ridden by Rossa Ryan and Oi The Clubb Oi's (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jim Crowley.
The interference was found to be accidental due to Argus (IRE) shying right-handed away from the free-running Regal Director (IRE), causing Crowley, the rider of Oi The Clubb Oi's (GB) to become tightened for room.
The performance of Just Wait (IRE), which started favourite and finished last of the twelve runners, was considered.
The representative for Mark Johnston could offer no explanation for the mare's performance and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Daniel Muscutt reported that Baydar (GB), placed eighth, was slowly into stride.
