An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving War Treaty (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Kevin Stott and Jm Jungle (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Ryan Sexton.

Sexton was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to edge left-handed towards the rail, without being sufficiently clear of War Treaty (IRE), forcing Stott to lose his early position when tightened up for racing room.

An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 5 furlong marker involving Pink Stripes (GB), placed sixth, ridden by George Rooke, Jm Jungle (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Ryan Sexton and the winner, Sanks A Million (IRE), ridden by Richard Kingscote.

Kingscote was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had permitted his mount to shift left-handed when insufficiently clear of Jm Jungle (IRE) which was crowded for room onto Pink Stripes (GB), causing Rooke to take a significant check on the rail.

Approaching the ½ furlong marker, the winner, Sanks A Million (IRE), shifted quickly right-handed whilst racing greenly, briefly carrying Rock Opera (GB), placed second, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Sanks A Million (IRE).

Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Metahorse (GB), placed third, ran green and also hung left- handed in the home straight.
