The Stewards received a report from Mr. W Fleming , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Lynda Tara Masterson , rider of Our Kieran , had presented herself at scales to weigh-out with three pounds overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. The rider stated that she had expected to make the weight but accepted that she had misjudged it and found herself three pounds overweight when weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the rider to carry the three pounds overweight but found her in breach of Rule 198 and fined her ?150 while also reminding her of her responsibilities in future.
