The winner, True Belief (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Lingfield on 13 August 2019 where the gelding finished ninth of ten, beaten by 15 lengths.
Brett Johnson's explanation that the gelding was badly interfered with at Lingfield was noted.
True Belief (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Ed de Giles' representative reported that Doubly Beautiful (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the going, which was officially described as Soft on this occasion, and would prefer a quicker surface.
