An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2½ furlongs out involving Mawada (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Finley Marsh, Lunatick (GB), placed second, ridden by Rob Hornby, Fleurir (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jack Mitchell, and Hat Toss (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Aidan Keeley.
Hornby was suspended for 8 days for careless riding as he angled for an insufficient gap between both Fleurir (GB) and Mawada (IRE) causing considerable interference to Fleurir (GB) which resulted in Hat Toss (IRE) becoming unbalanced against the rail.
