Amorously (IRE) wore earplugs which were removed at the start.
Approximately 1½ furlongs out, Beguiling Charm (IRE), placed second, edged slightly right-handed towards the rail, tightening Lethal Lover (GB), placed fifth, for room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Beguiling Charm (IRE).
The winner, Amorously (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Nottingham on 10 May 2019 where the filly finished ninth of thirteen, beaten by 21¼ lengths.
The explanation from the representative of Richard Hannon that Amorously (IRE) had been more settled in the preliminaries on this occasion was noted, and the filly was routine tested.
