O’Shea was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
John O’Shea was cautioned as Richie Valentine (GB) had arrived in the Parade Ring wearing an undeclared tongue strap which was removed before the gelding went to the start.
The winner, ELIOS D’OR (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Fontwell on 12 May 2022 where the gelding finished fifth of seven, beaten by 18 lengths.
The explanation from Robert Walford that ELIOS D’OR (FR) was suited by a flatter track and has stripped fitter for its previous two runs after a 245 day break was noted.
