An enquiry was held to consider interference 3 furlong when Epona (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Shane Gray, interfered with the winner Arletta Star (GB), ridden by James Sullivan.
Gray was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had edged left towards the rail when not sufficiently clear, causing Arletta Star (GB) to be checked.
The winner Arletta Star (GB) appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Redcar on 28 May 2019, where the filly finished seventh of twelve beaten 9? lengths.
It was noted that Tim Easterby could offer no explanation for the filly's improved form.
Arletta Star (GB) was routine tested.
