It was a long time coming but I'm delighted he's won for the lads (Sams Snug Syndicate) after they'd persevered with him,. He's a real good work horse at home. He hasn't brought that to the track though.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Lyrical Attraction, ridden by O.J
Orr, placed second and Tashman, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, where it appeared that both horses got close
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action
G.F. Carroll, rider of Tashman trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned a bit left going up the straight.
An extended handicap for four years old and upwards rated 45-70
